Job summary

IKS Health is seeking a Part-time on-site Patient Billing Support Specialist in Coppell, TX to handle inbound/outbound calls about billing statements and past-due balances with strong customer service.

Ideal candidates have excellent organization, strong communication, and basic computer skills (MS Office/Google Suite) and can multitask across systems while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Compensation is $18.59 per hour with healthcare, 401k, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Excellent organization, customer service and communication skills.
• Moderate computer proficiency including working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite Tools.
• Problem solving, good judgment, attention to detail, and follow-through are essential.
• Ability to multi-task and work within multiple systems at the same time.
• Able to work with little or no supervision.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with patients via inbound and outbound phone calls.
• Provide knowledgeable answers to questions regarding medical bills and accounts.
• Comply with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Provide excellent customer service and timely responses to questions about benefits, billing, claims, and payments.
• Review Explanation of Benefits to determine patient responsibility, adjustments and write-offs as needed.
• Explain charges and policies to patients and guide them to resources.
