UVA Health is seeking a Customer Service Resolution Specialist to handle and resolve customer questions, complaints, patient responsibility balances and billing inquiries with courtesy and professionalism. The role is centered in our call center, addressing inquiries via multiple channels and providing information about financial assistance for uninsured/under-insured patients.

Responsibilities include analyzing billing to determine patient responsibility, resolving balances through debt

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year relevant experience preferred.
• No licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Handle and resolve customer questions, complaints, and billing inquiries with courtesy.
• Resolve patient responsibility balances using proven debt collection techniques.
• Provide best possible service to customers and maintain positive relationships.
• Perform required contact center duties: answer calls, respond to emails, and meet performance expectations.
