Job summary

Variety Care is seeking a Patient Account Resolution Specialist to resolve outstanding patient balances and support financial health of self-pay AR. You will work with patients, billing teams, and leadership to improve collections while maintaining a positive patient experience.

Responsibilities include notifying patients, setting up payment plans, and providing clear explanations of financial obligations. Excellent customer service and HIPAA compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of customer service, collections, billing, or office experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to navigate multiple software systems simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Contact patients regarding delinquent balances via telephone, MyChart, letters, and other approved methods.
• Establish payment arrangements and negotiate plans within guidelines.
• Monitor and follow up on active payment plans for compliance.
• Prepare and send statements, notices, and related correspondence.
• Document collection activities accurately and maintain patient communications.
