Job summary

UVA Health in Charlottesville, VA seeks a Customer Service Resolution Specialist to manage and resolve patient billing inquiries, guarantor questions, and balance resolutions with courtesy and professionalism.

The role uses multiple electronic billing systems to respond to inquiries from callers and emails, performs data entry, and maintains positive relationships while delivering outstanding service to patients and their families.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent.
• Experience: 1 year relevant experience preferred.
• Licensure: None required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze billing process to determine what if any amount is patient responsibility.
• Resolves patient balances using proven debt collection techniques.
• Provide optimum customer service including quality assurance for all patient inquiries.
• Perform the following Contact Center functions: answer calls, respond to email, meet performance expectations.
• In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.
