Job summary

Socket.dev is actively seeking a Patient Account Resolution Specialist to support the self-pay accounts receivable portfolio. You will work directly with patients to collect balances, establish payment plans, answer billing questions, and provide courteous service throughout the resolution process.

The role requires coordination with clinic staff, billing teams, and revenue cycle leadership to improve collections, reduce aging AR, and ensure patients understand their financial responsibilities

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of customer service, collections, billing, or office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contact patients regarding delinquent balances and collect outstanding amounts.
• Negotiate payment plans within approved guidelines and monitor progress.
• Prepare statements and maintain accurate documentation of collection activities.
• Collaborate with billing teams and leadership to improve collections and AR performance.
