INTEGRIS Health in Oklahoma City, OK is seeking a Patient Financial Advisor - Self Pay to join our team in the 5300 Building. You will serve as the primary contact for patient billing inquiries and guide account resolution with empathy and professionalism.

Responsibilities include educating patients on insurance coverage, collecting payments, and coordinating with insurers and vendors to resolve issues, while maintaining strict compliance with EMTALA, HIPAA, and FDCPA guidelines.

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience in healthcare insurance billing, denial management, or related areas.
• 5 years of patient access experience may be considered.
• 2 years of medical billing experience may be considered with a bachelor’s degree, or 3 years with healthcare cert.
• Revenue Cycle or Patient Access certifications and Epic EMR experience preferred.
• Must obtain Revenue Cycle or Patient Access related certification within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for patient billing inquiries and account resolution.
• Educate patients on insurance coverage, patient responsibilities, and financial programs.
• Coordinate with insurance payors, vendors, and departments to resolve payments and denials.
• Verify, collect, and update patient demographics and insurance information in Epic EMR.
• Ensure compliance with EMTALA, HIPAA, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, and related regulations.
• Provide professional, compassionate customer service via phone, mail, email, and digital channels.
