Responsibilities

• Obtain authorizations and referral approvals for services from insurance carriers; gather medical information as required.
• Post payments and denials; reconcile accounts and resolve posting issues.
• Serve as a resource for physicians, insurance carriers and patients to resolve questions related to patient accounts.
