Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Typing proficiency of at least 40 WPM.

• One year of hospital billing or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review patient accounts to ensure charges and payments are accurate.
• Verify that insurance authorizations have been obtained when required.
• Submit claims and account information to insurance carriers and patients in a timely manner.
• Research and resolve billing and payment discrepancies.
• Navigate multiple insurance payer requirements while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Prioritize and manage a high-volume workload to maximize efficiency and collections.
