NYU Langone Nevada is seeking a Customer Service Representative I to serve as the primary contact for patients regarding balances, benefits, and insurance. You will handle calls and messages, log data in CRM, and assist with billing tasks and provider communications.

The role requires attention to detail, empathy, and adherence to defined workflows, with involvement in medical coding and ongoing training opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; college credits preferred.
• 1 year experience in customer service or related duties; knowledge of CPT/ ICD-10.
• Typing speed 35 wpm or greater on pre-onboarding assessment; strong English usage.

Responsibilities

• Handle patient inquiries via phone or electronic messages, log data in CRM, and process payments.
• Provide input on billing procedures and workflows to improve patient satisfaction.
• Follow established workflows and escalate issues to management as needed.
• Communicate with providers and billing teams to ensure accurate claims processing.
• Maintain accurate notes in Epic CRM and other systems; manage time-bound tasks.
