Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• ICD-9 coding experience preferred.
• Experience with patient services and Medicaid/Medicare knowledge.
• Maintain CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Register new client on Intergy per guidelines issued by CHI.
• Research files for previous enrollment in CHI system.
• Renew or update existing client profiles as per guidelines.
• Perform financial screening on active clients requesting services.
• Attempt collection on past due debts as clients request services.
• Check-in clients for needed medical services.
• Check-out clients after services.
• Process patient payments and balance daily batches.
• Submit daily journal to supervisor.
• Submit cash and copies of daily batches to Accounting.
• Complete statistical data and submit daily.
• Ensure HIPAA confidentiality and guidelines.
