Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Investigates and verifies financial status of prospective customers.
• Screens inpatients/outpatients for HCAP and sliding fee scale eligibility.
• Answers customers questions regarding statements and insurance coverage.
• Establishes credit limitations on customer accounts and handles special credit arrangements.
• Reviews A/R reports to ascertain status of collections and outstanding balances.
• Receives payment on accounts.
• Obtains signed authorized representative form.
• Screens patients for Medicaid eligibility.
• Maintains active eligibility spreadsheets and denied applications.
