Kennebec Pharmacy and Home Care is seeking a detailed-oriented Correspondence Specialist to join our Revenue Cycle Team in Augusta, Maine. This full-time, in-person role focuses on patient communications, billing follow-up, and accurate documentation to support timely payments.

You will handle inquiries, assist with claim processing, update payer/third-party addresses, and collaborate with supervisors to resolve escalated concerns while maintaining patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Experience handling customer inquiries and payments.
• Ability to enter data accurately in billing systems.
• Capable of multitasking and meeting deadlines while maintaining confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Handling all phases of customer inquiries received via phone or written correspondence.
• Responding to customer inquiries and complaints regarding bill payments, account updates, service issues, and collections in a professional manner.
• Efficient, timely, and accurate processing and data entry of assigned claim files and claim payments.
• Ensuring that payer and third-party company addresses are updated and accurate
• Work in a team environment in a shared office space
• Ability to multi-task and effectively manage an active case load.
• Provide excellent customer service while taking in-bound calls and assisting with requests.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and rights.
