Qualifications

• Experience processing hospital claims; Oracle experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and billing practices.
• Proven experience as a Patient Account Representative or similar.
• Strong organizational and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit insurance claims to payers.
• Resolve claim discrepancies and errors using claims scrubber software.
• Follow up on denied or unpaid claims by contacting payers online or directly.
• Verify claim payments are accurate per payer contracts.
• Perform insurance verification, patient registration, and patient estimates.
