Qualifications

Responsibilities

• File insurance claims daily using the billing system/editor, submitting all finalized claims electronically or by paper as required.
• Follow up on unpaid or underpaid claims to ensure proper reimbursement.
• Assist patients with billing questions regarding claims, payments, and account balances, demonstrating empathy and problem-solving.
• Explain billing information clearly to patients and manage inquiries efficiently.
• Maintain and reconcile accounts receivable aging reports and review statements.
