Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Two years’ experience of third party billing and follow up, in a healthcare setting

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with billing questions, insurance claims and payments.
• Verifies insurance benefits for commercial, Medicare and Medicaid.
• Identifies and corrects billing errors and resubmits claims.
• Performs audits of patient accounts to ensure accuracy and timely payment.
• Maintains knowledge of third party payer and government billing requirements.
