Texas Fertility Center in Austin seeks a Patient Account Representative/Checkout to safeguard medical billing accuracy at the point of service. You’ll handle copays, payments, and insurance verifications with empathy, keeping patients informed and comfortable during checkout.

Based at our Central Austin office, you’ll collaborate with front desk and clinical teams, post payments, reconcile tallies, and ensure records match across the practice management system and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Healthcare billing and patient accounting experience.
• Payment posting, reconciliation, and cash-handling accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and customer service.
• Clear communication and calm problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Collect copays, coinsurance, deductibles, and outstanding balances at checkout.
• Post and reconcile payments; prepare daily closeout documentation and deposits.
• Complete insurance verification and benefits coordination to reduce surprises.
• Answer billing questions with empathy, clarity, and professionalism.
• Maintain precise records in practice management/EHR systems and Microsoft Office.
