Job summary

Imperium Neurowellness is seeking a Patient Billing Support Specialist to provide patient customer service, administrative help, and billing support. You will work with the Billing Specialist on patient accounts, insurance claims, and daily billing operations in-office and must be available evenings and weekends.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and committed to delivering excellent patient service while maintaining HIPAA compliance and accurate records.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, administrative support, or medical billing preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Comfortable using computers, entering data, and learning new software.
• Ability to multitask, solve problems, and manage daily responsibilities.
• Dependable, professional, and able to work well with a team.
• Medical billing or insurance experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Answer patient questions about billing, account balances, insurance, and payments.
• Provide friendly, professional assistance by phone and email.
• Help resolve patient billing concerns and follow up as needed.
• Assist the Billing Specialist with insurance claims, payment posting, and account follow-up.
• Verify patient information, insurance details, and billing accuracy.
• Help identify and correct billing errors or denied claims.
• Follow up on outstanding claims and patient balances as assigned.
• Provide daily administrative support to the Imperium Neurowellness department.
• Maintain accurate patient records and billing documentation.
• Assist with data entry, document processing, and account updates.
• Communicate with team members to resolve patient and billing issues.
• Complete assigned tasks accurately and on time.
