Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Responsible for billing and collections of receivables for Southcoast Hospitals Group.
• Utilize software, including Epic, to process patient accounts.
• Contact insurers, employers, and patients to resolve outstanding accounts.

Skills

CPT/HCPCS/ICD coding knowledge

Third party medical billing experience

Working knowledge of Excel

Working knowledge of Word

Education

Completion of four years of high school

Billing certification from an accredited school
