The role requires understanding of medical billing, strong problem-solving, and clear communication to explain complex processes to patients. Shifts include 80 hours bi-weekly, day shifts, Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in revenue cycle functions such as patient financial services or medical billing.
• Ability to analyze patient accounts and determine status and required actions.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills to explain billing practices.

Responsibilities

• Handle patient billing between the hospital and patients.
• Help patients set up payment plans and reconcile payments.
• Process payment applications, postings, and refunds as needed.
