Job summary

MedMark Treatment Centers is seeking a dedicated Patient Access Representative / Patient Account Representative. The role focuses on billing, verifying insurance, and maintaining third‑party records to ensure accurate revenue cycle management.

You will manage collections for self‑pay clients and assist with pre-authorizations where needed. Qualified candidates have a high school diploma and 2–4 years of Medicaid/insurance experience, strong customer service, and proficient PC skills

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with prior experience in a medical office setting.
• 2–4 years’ experience with Medicaid and PAC and commercial insurance is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills and professional presentation, including telephone etiquette.
• Knowledge of medical insurance claims procedures and documentation.
• Proficient in basic PC skills; Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review, maintain, and process fiscal/account records and transactions.
• Verify insurance benefits and billing information; annotate accounts.
• Contact third party payers for payment post billing.
• Resolve issues with payment and billing; reconcile daily money collected.
• Maintain accurate accounts and demographics; ensure proper annotations.
