Job summary

Ascension seeks a dedicated caregiver to provide patient monitoring and bedside support under the supervision of a registered nurse. You will stay at the bedside with assigned patients, assist in calming/agitating situations, remove hazards, and diligently record observations in the patient record.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent (or a year of related experience). BLS certification is preferred, with Crisis Prevention training also favored to support safe patient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 1 year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
• BLS Provider preferred with American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Crisis Prevention certification preferred.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Certification specializing in Crisis Prevention preferred.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
