Job summary

Bellin Health seeks a Patient Admissions Representative in Marquette, MI to handle patient registration onsite at 1414 W Fair Ave, Suite 390. The role runs 8:00am–4:30pm, Monday–Friday, with no weekends or holidays, and is 1.0 FTE (40 hours).

Responsibilities include timely registration, payer compliance, and handling calls while communicating with patients, physicians, and staff. HS diploma and healthcare business training preferred; prior admitting experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and post-secondary classes in medical insurance, medical terminology, and health care business preferred.
• Hospital or clinic admitting experience or completion of health business program, computer/keyboard skills, medical terminology, and health insurance processing preferred.
• Excellent customer service and decision-making skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Register patients timely, completely, and accurately while meeting payor requirements.
• Manage telephone calls and communicate information with patients, physicians, and staff.
