Qualifications

• Gathers patient demographics and MSPQ information for Medicare.
• Verifies patient insurance eligibility and benefits.
• CHAA certification or an Associates degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet, interview and register patients for admission.
• Prepare patient accounts for inpatient and outpatient billing.
• Obtain pre-authorization information when needed.
• Interface with patient care departments to provide information regarding Patient Access.
• Perform point-of-service collections of co-pays and deductibles.
