• Explains ABNs and financial documents to patients and families.
• Counsels self-pay patients on costs, options, and resources.
• Secures and logs patient valuables and places identification armbands.
• Reads orders to determine registration steps and enters orders for departments.
• Notifies departments and physicians of arrivals and follows up on delays.
• Assists with bed assignments by coordinating with nursing staff.
• Manages a multi-line phone system and relays messages promptly.
• Supports emergency codes and participates in facility safety plans.
• Maintains regular attendance and complies with policies.
