Qualifications

• 0–2 years admissions/customer service experience required.
• Healthcare setting experience preferred (1–2 years).

Responsibilities

• Registers patients efficiently and accurately in the registration system and obtains signatures on consent and authorization forms.
• Verifies insurance coverage and identifies plan codes for accurate billing and prompt payment.
• Explains legal and financial documents, including ABNs, to patients and families as required.
• Counsels self-pay patients on procedure costs, payment options, and available resources, documenting interactions thoroughly.
• Maintains patient valuables and logs, ensuring proper tracking and safekeeping.
