Responsibilities

• Manage the registration process to meet the organization’s expectations.
• Answer telephone and take reservations, assigning patients to rooms according to hospital policies.
• Pre-register patients into the system to expedite admission.
• Interview/legal guardian to obtain necessary information for complete and accurate accounts.
• Verify insurances and obtain precertification/authorizations as needed.
• Ensure all necessary signatures are obtained for treatment.
• Scan all necessary papers according to policy to complete the registration.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and professional conduct during interactions.
