• Log patient valuables and assign identification armbands for proper care.
• Read physician orders and ensure accurate entry for ancillary departments.
• Notify departments or physicians of arrivals and follow up on delays to ensure timely service.
• Assist with bed assignments and coordinate with nursing for resources.
