Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Register patients accurately and obtain signatures on consent and authorization forms
• Verify insurance coverage and explain costs to patients
• Explain ABNs and counsel self-pay patients on costs and options
• Document interactions thoroughly and maintain confidentiality
• Assist with bed assignments and coordinate with nursing for efficient admissions
• Operate multi-line phones and relay messages promptly
• Maintain compliance with facility policies and codes
