Senior Lifestyle is seeking an Admissions/Pre-Admission Coordinator in Gorham, ME. You will support the admissions process from pre-admission to discharge, ensuring accurate referral handling and coordination with physicians and departments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Years of Experience: 1-3+ months in sales/admissions.
• Fluent English for speaking, reading, writing with supervisors, coworkers, residents, and third parties.
• Basic software/computer proficiency and understanding of accounting and sales.

Responsibilities

• Receive referrals and disseminate information to appropriate staff.
• Track pre-admission referral activity as needed.
• Coordinate assignment of attending physician and obtain required approvals.
• Notify departments of anticipated admissions and welcome resident on admission.
• Update census and coordinate room assignments with nursing and case manager.
