Senior Lifestyle Corporation in Gorham, ME is seeking a dedicated Admissions Coordinator to support the pre-admission, admission, discharge and follow-up processes. You will collaborate with the admissions team, physicians and departments to ensure smooth transitions and accurate patient information.

The role requires friendly communication, attention to detail, and basic software skills, with a focus on resident rights and quality service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 1-3+ months of related experience in sales/admissions.
• English fluency to communicate with residents and staff.
• Basic software proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Receive patient referral and disseminate information to appropriate individuals.
• Track pre-admission referral activity as needed.
• Coordinate the assignment of attending physician.
• Confirm financial approval with the appropriate party/entity.
• Notify departments of anticipated admissions.
• Welcome patient on admission.
• Coordinate room assignment designation with nursing department and case manager.
• Promote and protect resident rights, assist residents to make informed decisions, treat residents with dignity and respect.
