Job summary

Senior Lifestyle in Gorham, ME is seeking a Nurse Manager to provide direct nursing care on assigned floors and supervise CRMA, PSS, and CNA staff. You will maintain a safe, therapeutic environment and ensure delivery of planned resident care according to nursing protocols.

Responsibilities include supervising medication administration, EMAR documentation, completing charts and monthly summaries, and guiding new staff through orientation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent
• Ability to supervise CRMA, PSS, and CNA staff
• Strong assessment, care planning, and documentation skills
• Proficiency with EMAR and medication administration

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and individualized nursing care to residents per protocol.
• Assess and address physical, emotional, social, educational, and functional needs of residents and families.
• Transcribe orders accurately and integrate the care plan into nursing care.
• Administer medications per physician orders and document in EMAR.
• Supervise nursing team and ensure resident charts and monthly summaries are completed.
• Prepare incident reports and orient new staff to unit procedures.
