Job summary

Bellin Health is seeking a Patient Admissions Representative for on-site roles at 440 Woodward Ave, Iron Mountain, MI. You will manage patient registrations, communicate with patients and staff, and ensure payor requirements are met.

Schedule is 7:30am–4:00pm, Monday–Friday, with no weekends or holidays. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and relevant health-care business or medical terminology coursework, plus hospital or clinic admitting experience or related training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; post-secondary classes in medical insurance and health care business preferred.
• Hospital or clinic admitting experience or completion of health business program.
• Computer/keyboard skills, medical terminology, health insurance processing, and strong customer service skills preferred.

Responsibilities

Job Description:

Responsible for the timely, complete, and accurate registration process of patients while meeting payor requirements. Manages telephone calls and appropriately communicates information with patients, physicians, and/or staff.
