Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum typing skills of 45 wpm required with ability to use computer systems; basic course in medical terminology preferred.
• Previous Admissions or medical office experience strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Register all patient types accurately and obtain necessary signatures and financial arrangements.
• Handle initial patient contact and verify registration information.
• Process patient changes, discharges, and ensure signatures and billing forms are on file before release.
• Prepare patient receipts and balance cash drawer; perform PBX duties as required.
