Dallas Medical Center, LLC seeks a Patient Account Registrar (Hospital Admission Representative) for per diem shifts in Farmers Branch, TX. You will collect and verify patient demographics, insurance information, eligibility, benefits and authorizations while supporting the Admitting team.

You will interview patients, verify coverage, enter data in EMR, communicate with patients across all ages, and assist with reception and PBX tasks.

Competenze

• Previous hospital experience as an admissions representative preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize needs to meet required timelines.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Customer Services experience required.
• High School Graduate or GED Equivalent Required (effective 4/1/14 for all new hires).

Mansioni

• Interview patients or authorized representatives to gather accurate demographic and insurance information
• Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, and required authorizations
• Enter and retrieve patient data using computerized systems
• Communicate clearly with patients using age-appropriate techniques across all life stages
• Support Admitting department operations, including reception, PBX functions, and special assignments
