Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Register patients in a timely and accurate manner and create accounts/medical record numbers.
• Verify insurance coverage and collect patient co-payments and deductibles.
• Obtain pre-certifications/authorization for assigned accounts as needed.
• Coordinate with patients, staff, providers and external agencies to resolve issues.
• Post payments to the payment processing system and explain plan benefits to patients.
