Job summary

Talentify seeks an admissions clerk to support pre-admit and admission processes. You will collect demographic and financial information, verify insurance eligibility, and secure required authorizations and signatures.

You will also prepare accurate records, explain hospital policies, and coordinate with financial counselors as needed to support billing activities. The role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to balance cash handling responsibilities with patient

Qualifications

• Interviews patient and/or representative to obtain demographic and financial information.
• Verifies insurance eligibility and benefits.
• Collects cost shares (co-pays, deposits, SOC, deductibles) and processes payments.

Responsibilities

• Interviews patient and/or representative, collects/records required financial and demographic information.
• Verifies patient identity and insurance eligibility/benefits.
• Notifies insurer of admission status.
• Obtains authorizations/pre-certifications and required billing information from payer sources.
• Coordinates and informs patients of required financial obligations.
• Reviews and collects signatures on all required documents.
• Documents admission/collection data in KPHC and other systems.
