Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Associate degree preferred; 1-3 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum of three years in patient accounts required.
• Knowledge of hospital billing and third-party reimbursement.
• English language proficiency and effective communication with customers.
• Ability to cooperate with others and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Oversee billing and collection of third-party accounts on a daily basis.
• Analyze staff performance, AR metrics, and progress toward financial targets.
• Lead process improvements to enhance workflows and productivity.
• Provide guidance and training on applications and staff competencies.
• Prepare departmental and ad-hoc reports for management.
• Ensure compliance with billing regulations and payer requirements.
• Collaborate with payers and participate in meetings to resolve issues.
