Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: At least 1 year in health care collections or related field preferred; health care business office experience acceptable.
• Experience with insurance billing and business software, especially Excel, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Bills payors electronically or via hard copy.
• Corrects and maintains daily billing reports.
• Submit claims electronically or on paper and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Complete Medicare Bad Debt Log monthly and ensure accuracy.
