St. Joseph’s/Candler Health System is seeking a Patient Financial Solutions Center specialist to respond to patient inquiries by phone, email, or face-to-face. You will handle advocate calls, process patient account emails and attorney letters, and support debt collection activities in a clinical setting.

The role expects 2–3 years of hospital patient accounts experience, clerical skills, and a focus on accurate, timely information delivery with strong customer service abilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma in Business preferred.
• 2–3 years hospital patient accounts experience preferred.
• Clerical experience with office procedures and computer skills required.
• Experience in a medical setting and with diverse populations desired.
• Prior customer service experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Resolves patient account problems in a positive manner within established timeframes.
• Keeps abreast of Health System services to provide current information.
• Ensures proper authorization to release PHI and provides itemized bills within timeframes.
• Mails Financial Assistance applications and assists patients with the process.
