Job summary

Virginia Heart is seeking a professional Patient Account Representative - Self Pay in Falls Church, VA to follow up on past due balances and set up payment plans. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Reviews delinquent accounts records and follows up on outstanding balances.
• Reviews outstanding accounts in queue and maintains logs of balances collected.
• Maintains tickler file of accounts and follows up by telephone and correspondence.
• Answers inquiries from patients, insurance carriers, and offices in a timely manner.
• Expert in using the claims and billing system to its fullest capacity.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Manager or Assistant Manager
