Job summary

Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles seeks an Admissions Team Lead to supervise patient access operations in the Specialty Clinics. You will coach staff, manage schedules, monitor data quality, and ensure accurate registrations while optimizing cash flow and service levels.

This full-time on-site role requires 4+ years in patient access or revenue cycle and prior call-center leadership; CHAA preferred. Hybrid eligibility after training and orientation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor's Degree in Hospital Administration or equivalent preferred.
• Four (4) years of healthcare experience in Patient Access/Registration/Revenue Cycle roles, preferably with Cedars-Sinai.
• Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) certification preferred upon hire.
• Prior leadership experience in a call center environment with KPI knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates admissions team workflow by coaching, guiding, troubleshooting and leading by example; cross-trained in all unit areas.
• Prepares and posts team work schedules; covers sick calls and weekend needs; supports 24/7 department operations.
• Evaluates performance; provides feedback on counseling and disciplinary actions; ensures time & attendance policy compliance.
• Oversees orientation and unit training for new hires; identifies training needs and development opportunities.
• Manages budget compliance by monitoring staffing levels and overtime; ensures policy adherence.
• Ensures data accuracy in demographic and financial information; verifies benefits and insurance documentation.
