Job summary

Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles is seeking an Admissions Team Lead for ED & LD Registration and Operations on a full-time, on-site 10-hour day shift. You will supervise daily admissions workflows, coordinate patient flow, and ensure registrations meet data quality and billing standards.

You will coach and train staff, manage scheduling, monitor performance, and collaborate with other units to improve service levels and cash collection.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Four years of healthcare experience in Patient Access, Registration, Financial Clearance, Scheduling, or Revenue Cycle roles.
• Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) preferred upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates admissions team workflow by coaching, guiding, troubleshooting and leading by example.
• Assists with staffing, scheduling, and weekend coverage to meet department needs.
• Monitors performance and provides feedback; ensures compliance with attendance policies.
• Coaches staff, conducts orientation and identifies training needs for development.
• Manages budget compliance, overtime, and staffing levels within approved limits.
• Ensures accurate demographic and financial information and proper billing.
• Collects data for performance indicators and quality assurance reports.
• Updates registration systems to ensure proper billing and cash collection.
• Acts as liaison with other units and oversees team tasks to meet deadlines.
