Job summary

Froedtert Health in West Bend, WI is seeking a Patient Access Service Representative (PASR) to deliver exceptional patient experience at the front desk and over the phone. This role requires floating to various clinic sites to support operations and ensure smooth patient flow.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of healthcare or customer service experience and a high school diploma. Proficiency with Outlook, Excel, Word, and EpicCare is preferred, with a 30-hour work week and 6:30am–7:00pm shift

Qualifications

• Healthcare experience preferred but not required.
• 1 year in receptionist/assistant or customer service.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors with a welcoming, helpful attitude.
• Provide front‑of‑house and phone support for patient needs.
• Float to multiple rehab locations to support operations.
• Assist with scheduling and basic patient intake tasks using EpicCare where applicable.

Job Type: Full-time (0.750 FTE)

Standard Hours: 30.00

Shift: Shift 1 (Monday-Friday 6:30am-7pm)

Shift Details: Must be available Monday-Friday from 6:30 am to 7 pm and can float between multiple Rehab Locations.

Job Summary

The Patient Access Service Representative (PASR) delivers an exceptional patient experience for front‑of‑house and patient‑facing needs. The PASR proactively greets patients and visitors, creates a helpful, positive, welcoming, and friendly environment, and provides outstanding customer service both in person and on the phone. The PASR float is required to float to various clinic sites to support operational business needs.

Experience

Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred but not necessary. One year of experience as a receptionist/assistant or work in a customer service field.

Education

High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Special Skills

• Effective communication skills, oral and written.
• Ability to multi‑task and strong proactive organizational skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and EpicCare is preferred.
