Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Patient Access Supervisor to develop and manage the efficiency of the Patient Access Departments, including scheduling, pre-admission, pre-registration, admission, registration and Quality Assurance. This is a full-time role, 100% onsite at MLK Hospital.

The position offers a swing shift from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM with rotating on-call every 3 weeks. A high school diploma or GED and at least 5 years of relevant experience are required, with demonstrated leadership and

Qualifications

• High School diploma OR equivalent (GED), and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience.
• Demonstrated competency in working in teams and ability to effectively communicate with all levels.
• Demonstrated leadership in creating and implementing new processes.
• Current BLS certification with American Heart Association OR ability to obtain within 90 days post hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead Human Resource activities and department development.
• Drive Customer Service/Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Guide Revenue Cycle consulting/management efforts.
