Job summary

St. Peter's Hospital, part of Trinity Health, is seeking a Patient Access Supervisor for the Full-Time Evening Shift to lead our front desk team and ensure smooth, compassionate patient registration and financial clearance experiences.

You will oversee daily operations, coach staff, monitor performance metrics, and collaborate with department leaders to improve patient satisfaction while maintaining operational excellence across the hospital.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; an Associate degree preferred.
• 2–3 years of Patient Access or Pre-Service experience.
• Previous supervisory or team-lead experience in healthcare.
• Willingness to obtain HFMA CRCR, NAHAM CHAA or CHAM within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily oversight for Patient Access operations across the hospital.
• Lead and develop a team responsible for registrations, admissions, ED registration, financial counseling, and bed assignment.
• Ensure patients receive an outstanding first impression through service and efficiency.
• Monitor registration quality and financial clearance activities and metrics.
• Collaborate with leaders to improve processes and patient satisfaction.
• Coach and mentor staff while fostering a positive work environment.
• Resolve patient, family, and staff concerns professionally.
