Sinai Hospital is seeking a Patient Access specialist to ensure accurate demographic and payer data, support Financial Clearance, and reduce denials by validating insurance eligibility and patient status. The role emphasizes compliance with decedent affairs guidelines and developing SME knowledge to facilitate precise results.

The position requires 3 years of Patient Access experience, with 5+ years preferred, and a Bachelor's Degree is preferred.

Competenze

• 3 years of Patient Access experience required.
• 5+ years of experience preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Mansioni

• Serves as a liaison between the department and both internal and external customers based on the customer's needs.
• Uses all available applications and tools to verify patient demographic and insurance information, ensure registration accuracy, and ensure accurate placement and status for all requested transactions, including Direct and ED admissions, internal and external transfers and general inquiries.
• Ensures patient information is complete and accurate in preparation for the Financial Clearance process.
