Job summary

LMH Health in Kansas is seeking a Patient Access Representative to register patients, schedule visits, and collect co-pays under supervision of the Director. You’ll greet patients, assist with insurance and billing tasks, and handle routine administrative duties in a fast-paced clinic setting.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with preferred experience and familiarity with medical terminology.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Some college with emphasis on business or healthcare is preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Register patients into the clinic and enter demographic and insurance data accurately.
• Greet patients and assist with check-in and scheduling.
• Educate staff and physicians on scheduling processes and computer systems.
• Schedule patient appointments by phone, in-person, or electronically.
• Handle multiple duties including inquiries, data entry, medical records, and office support.
• Confirm insurance eligibility with providers online.
• Proficient use of computer software, phone systems, and office equipment.
• Support compliance with regulatory mandates.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance as an essential function.
