Job summary

Qualifications

• Education required: High School Diploma; Associates preferred or equivalent.
• 1-3 years experience in Registration, Billing, Customer Service or managed care environments.
• Ability to interpret hospital policies and infection control rules.
• Proficiency with Epic, OnBase, Passport and other systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze patient accounts and evaluate financial data to maximize reimbursement.
• Verify insurance coverage and determine primary/secondary payer status.
• Coordinate financial assistance and direct patients to Financial Counselor.
• Collect co-payments and document interactions according to protocols.
• Enter complete demographic and financial information into the system.
