Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assigns MRNs and processes physician orders while providing excellent customer service.
• Operates the telephone switchboard for incoming, outgoing, and interoffice calls.
• Adheres to ThedaCare policies and provides compassionate customer interactions.
• Is accountable for point-of-service goals as assigned.
• Utilizes auditing and reporting systems to ensure accounts are accurate.
• Conducts audits of accounts and ensures forms are complete and timely.
• Pre-registers patient accounts including demographic and insurance information and collects patient financial liabilities.
• Explains and distributes patient education documents.
