Qualifications

• 1-3 years related on the job experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet patient and verify prescheduled procedures.
• Collect basic patient information and verify data in the computer.
• Coordinate patient flow with enrollment and required documentation.
• Collect or verify billing information and review insurance cards.
• Enter and update billing information in the computer.
• Collect co-pays, reconcile cash reports, and advise on balances.
• Print and file admissions, release, and insurance forms; obtain signatures.
• Scan signed forms and attach to patient records.
• Answer calls, provide information, and direct messages as needed.
• Schedule appointments and enter dates in the system.
• Conduct reminder calls and distribute patient surveys.
• Support team to meet patient needs and clinic flow.
• Monitor patient wait time.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Associate Degree in Medical Staff Services Management
